Strzok Vows “We Will Stop Trump From Becoming POTUS”

I.G. Report Stunner Released

The Justice Department’s inspector general report revealed Thursday that several members of the FBI expressed overt bias and opposition to President Trump. The I.G. report also criticizes former FBI director James Comey for his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation but does not conclude that he acted in biased political manner.

The president is expected to be briefed about the contents of the 500-page report prior to the Thursday release.

The Washington Post reports that the most damaging new revelation from the report will involve F.B.I. Investigator Peter Strzok, who said to an FBI lawyer Lisa Page in August 2016 that “we’ll stop” Trump from making the White House.

The Strzok/Page text conversations have been common knowledge for months, as several organizations including Judicial Watch have obtained and released the exchanges. Judicial Watch sued the Department of Justice in January in efforts to obtain the text conversations between Strzok and Page.

Political Impact

It remains to be seen how much of the report the public will actually be able to see. The report will be released to the 3 P.M. E.D.T. today to the general public. Several journalists and pundits believe that the released version will have heavy redactions; Sara Carter, who is a frequent contributor on Fox News wrote extensively about this possibility.

The left is already throwing up political chaff to try to deflect away from the bombshell revelations. Earlier today, it was reported in the Washington Post that the New York attorney general had filed suit against President Trump and his children, claiming ‘illegal conduct’ at the Donald J. Trump Foundation. The suit claims that Trump misused funds from his nonprofit to decorate one of his golf clubs and to stage a multimillion-dollar giveaway at one of his 2016 campaign events.

The Clinton Foundation has also been reported to have had ethical issues. No charges have been filed against the Clinton Foundation at this time.

The question many on the right will be asking after the release of the I.G. report is: what is the next shoe to drop? How will the revelations in the I.G. report affect the Mueller investigation? Will the status of General Michael Flynn change at all due to this report? Stay tuned to the New Right Network for more developments.
