Helsinki Talking Points, Act 2: Donald Trump

Talking Point: Strong Dialogue

As president, I cannot make decisions on foreign policy in a futile effort to appease partisan critics, or the media, or Democrats who want to do nothing but resist and obstruct. Constructive dialogue between the United States and Russia affords the opportunity to open new pathways toward peace and stability in our world. I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics. - Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States.

“A productive dialogue is not only good for the United States and good for Russia, but it is good for the world. The disagreements between our two countries are well known and President Putin and I discussed them at length today. But if we’re going to solve many of the problems facing our world, then we’re going to have to find ways to cooperate in pursuit of shared interests.”

President John F. Kennedy said as much, too. President Trump started his Helsinki speech with the hopes that two powerful countries could come together and bring about peace. He expressed the belief that finding shared interests is the way to do that.

The president also delivered an epic smackdown to the media, political pundits, and opposition by stating appeasement is futile, and that he could not make decisions based off of what they wanted.

He is absolutely correct. The fate of two entire nations cannot be forced to rest in the hands of the very people seeking to destroy them. Should that be done, there would neither be the peace, nor the stability average Americans wish for as the result.

Another important point that can be made here is that President Trump does not work for those entities. He was elected by, and works for, “We The People”. The government exists to work for what we want, and not the other way around.

Flashback To JFK

As of yet, not one of those entities have come up with a valid problem with Donald Trump speaking diplomatically to Vladimir Putin instead of insulting him on the world stage. Putin is not a man who would take that well. Knowing this, those entities wanted a cold shoulder, and a rude little birdie from Trump to Putin. They actually believed he would be the guy to deliver their long awaited war with Putin on a silver platter.

Sound familiar? It should. These same entities badgered JFK daily, urging him to send a pre-emptive strike Russia’s way. These same entities have been using Russia as a whole, and Putin in particular, as a kind of boogeyman to control the American people for decades, enabling them to rule as the elite class. Not serving WTP, as their positions were intended, but ruling, “Putin ad portas!”

“Too often, in both recent past and long ago, we have seen the consequences when diplomacy is left on the table. We’ve also seen the benefits of cooperation. In the last century, our nations fought alongside one another in the Second World War. Even during the tensions of the Cold War, when the world looked much different than it does today, the United States and Russia were able to maintain a strong dialogue. But our relationship has never been worse than it is now. However, that changed as of about four hours ago. I really believe that.” Thank you, Mr. President.

Talking Point: Russian Interference

“During today’s meeting, I addressed directly with President Putin the issue of Russian interference in our elections. I felt this was a message best delivered in person. Spent a great deal of time talking about it. And President Putin may very well want to address it, and very strongly, because he feels very strongly about it, and he has an interesting idea.”

Once again, as with the first time Trump met with Putin, he stressed “the issue of Russian interference in our elections.” The president affirmed they had spent a long couple of hours in which both argued their side. President Trump spoke of allowing Russian intel to be present, and question Americans, in exchange for Americans being allowed to be present, and interrogate Russian businesses Putin claims are the culprits.

Cue liberal exploding heads. By their reaction, one would think President Trump had already shaken hands on the deal. No one has ever accused them of being fair and balanced though. Not so, Fox News. The fair and balanced network went berserk. Shouts of “traitor!” erupted from every corner of the media empire. Cries of something along the lines of “Putin ad portas!” screamed over the air waves. Even though they merely talked, and nothing was done about the offer yet.

Talking Point: Nuclear Proliferation

“We also discussed one of the most critical challenges facing humanity: nuclear proliferation. I provided an update on my meeting last month with Chairman Kim on the denuclearization of North Korea. And after today, I am very sure that President Putin and Russia want very much to end that problem, going to work with us. And I appreciate that commitment.”

President Trump also put forward the idea of Russian collusion. As, in the Russians colluding with the Americans to keep the Koreans denuked, expressing appreciation for Putin’s commitment. One wonders what the president knows that makes him so sure Russia means what they say. Of course, everyone wondered the same thing when Trump met with Kim, which was yet another meeting to which globalists objected.

Flashback: Kim Ad Portas!

Remember the day everyone was going to die? Or the days everyone was going to die, before that one? The days before Kim Jong Un was shown how an alpha male dealt with threats, making Un back off completely. Remember when the media wanted people to believe Kim had eaten Trump’s lunch? Oddly enough, the fairest article on the Korean summit was about the media's reaction to it, and astonishingly, came from Russia Today.

The media spent days being overly anxious and pessimistic, certain that the meeting would fail before it had even begun. They published article after article claiming Kim would not follow through with his promises. Myriad articles proclaimed he had not done what he said he did -- even though there was actual footage of nuclear testing sites shut down, and development centers being destroyed. Careful observers will notice it is the same type of propaganda machinations used with Russia summit. Globalists have no other playbook.

Additionally, the media cannot be so surprised that no one believes them. Almost every news item spewed for the past two years has been proven to be a lie, or at very best, completely exaggerated. At some point, people are going to have to ask themselves certain questions: Why is it that progressives do not wish the U.S. to conduct diplomatic missions with Russia and North Korea? Why are nations that busily suck America dry called allies?

Raise Your Hand if You Knew

“The president and I also discussed the scourge of radical Islamic terrorism. Both Russia and the United States has suffered horrific terrorist attacks, and we have agreed to maintain open communication between our security agencies to protect our citizens from this global menace. Last year, we told Russia about a planned attack in St. Petersburg, and they were able to stop it cold. They found them. They stopped them. There was no doubt about it. I appreciated President Putin’s phone call afterwards to thank me.”

Did anyone know Russia was under Islamic Terror attack. Any hands raised? This blatant omission potentially proves there are those who do not wish to talk about that because it is Russia. If it were a country the dearly beloved swamp creatures were sympathetic to, it might be a different story. Besides, it was only Fox News.

Talking Point: Iran and ISIS and Syria, Oh My!

“I also emphasized the importance of placing pressure on Iran to halt its nuclear ambitions, and to stop its campaign of violence throughout the area, throughout the Middle East. As we discussed at length, the crisis in Syria is a complex one. Cooperation between our two countries has the potential to save hundreds of thousands of lives. I also made clear that the United States will not allow Iran to benefit from our successful campaign against ISIS. We have just about eradicated ISIS in the area.”

Not surprisingly, at the summit President Trump re-emphasized the fact that he did not make a Putin-friendly decision. Some puppet he is -- Pinocchio would be mortified. This is the decision Putin stated openly he had concern over; in Putin’s opinion, President Trump made the wrong move when he decided to pull out of Obama’s scam of an Iran Nuclear Deal. Obviously, this is something the purported puppetmaster Putin did not want Trump to do.

A Brighter Future

“We also agreed that representatives from our national security councils will meet to follow up on all of the issues we addressed today, and to continue the progress we have started right here in Helsinki. Today’s meeting is only the beginning of a longer process, but we have taken the first step toward a brighter future and one with a strong dialogue and a lot of thought. Our expectations are grounded in realism, but our hopes are grounded in America’s desire for friendship, cooperation and peace. And I think I can speak on behalf of Russia, when I say that, also.”

Why is this not a smart idea? Search though one may, one would be hard pressed to find a reason why dialogue between these two countries should not continue for the good of each other and the world. Why would anyone not want friendship, cooperation, and peace, with every one of the countries around the world? That is a true mystery. It seems to be what is de rigueur out there in the swamp, though.

That is as un-American as it gets. A country, with a history of strong and bold diplomacy, should never shun the opportunity to propagate peace. The swamp’s desire to see a brawl between Trump and Putin, quite literally the most insane desire yet, was thwarted by Trump, with their own lip service to diplomatic relations. Very diplomatically, Trump kept his remarks short and sweet, and only a select few questions were asked and answered. Read it for yourself. Find the transcript here.
