Philadelphia Meetup This Friday: “Diamond and Silk” and PA Gubernatorial Candidate Scott Wagner!

Who are “Diamond and Silk”?

Lynnette Hardaway (“Diamond”) and Rochelle Richardson (“Silk”) are sisters from the great state of North Carolina. Born to televangelist parents, they grew up with a strong-Christian background. As former Democrats, Diamond and Silk abandoned the Democrat party as soon as they heard what then candidate Donald Trump laid out as his campaign platform in 2015. The ladies immediately came into prominence when they posted a video on youtube.com “criticizing former Fox News host Megyn Kelly for asking what they considered irrelevant questions during the first Republican presidential debate.”

As ardent Trump Supporters, these two women refuse to shy away from the tough issues. Diamond and Silk enjoy being on a “Stump for Trump” since the beginning of his campaign in 2016, and the President has referred to the sisters as “warriors.” They have approximately 1.5 million Facebook followers and 700,000 youtube followers. Their videos address such topics as Hillary Clinton, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, the terrorist attack in Brussels, Obama, and the video list go on and on.

Once again, the dynamic duo of Diamond and Silk take to the campaign trail. This time, before the 2018 Midterm elections in support of Scott Wagner, and, as the Philadelphia Inquirer previously reported, unlike incumbent Tom Wolf, “at least he’s running a campaign.”

Scott Wagner, Pennsylvania Gubernatorial Candidate

“As a Republican running for Pennsylvania governor, my goal is to change the culture of corruption and cronyism in Harrisburg. It's time to #FixPA.”

Scott Wagner is a lifelong resident of York County, Pennsylvania, which is one of the most beautiful agricultural States in the Republic. Wagner grew up on a farm “shoveling manure” so he knows a thing or two about hard work. A “staunch” supporter of higher education, he found himself growing restless after one year of college and dropped out to start his own business at the age of 19.

Forty years later, Scott Wagner is a straight-talking, highly-successful Pennsylvania businessman and owner of several successful enterprises. Most notably, ‘Penn Waste’ is a business Scott Wagner conceived of and built from scratch with his bare hands; and, Penn Waste is one of the largest, most innovative, and “cleanest” recycling plants in the Nation.

Through the years, Wagner has driven trucks, was the mechanic, did the bookkeeping, made sales, and has even cleaned restrooms to build his businesses. Wagner successfully steered his businesses through some tough recessions and Pennsylvanians have taken note of his commitment to hard work and success.

As a testament to his fundamental work ethic, in his 2013 Senate bid, thousands of Pennsylvanians wrote in Scott Wagner’s name because they wanted a change in Harrisburg in the form of a “doer.”
